Senior UI Developer - London - up to £60,000 plus fantastic benefits

A worldwide brand have big expansion plans for their development team. They are looking for senior UI developers, responsible for the CMS User Interface (UI) and he/she will take the lead in developing the web based user interface. The UI will be simple, fast and most importantly user-focused. The jobholder will be responsible for developing an interface that will be in constant use throughout the offices around the globe.

As the UI is the first and last thing producers see, it is absolutely vital that they come away from the tool wanting to come straight back. Firstly and critically, it must assist both the client and it's other content producers to create and manage their sites efficiently and effectively.

Core skills:

* To take a lead developing the UI to the new CMS using Javascript, CSS and HTML5 and PHP.
* You must have extensive knowledge of knowledge of Javascript, XHTML and CSS
* You must have developed large, JavaScript web-based applications and ideally been involved with the development of Content Management Systems.
* Daily liaison with the product owners, technical lead, producers and design team to ensure the development of new features run smoothly.
* To be responsible for work quality, ensuring it is tested and testable and communicating regularly with all members of the technical team.
* Assessing technical and resource constraints and their impact on our product and teams.
* Outstanding communications skills both written and spoken and appreciation of when to use different mediums - gathering inputs and deadlines required of all stakeholders.
* You should have worked with international editorial teams who are creating content in many different languages.
* Proven experience of Agile planning within the software development lifecycle.
* We're a web team and make web products, so you need to be a web person.
* You must understand development best practice and apply it enthusiastically
